Position Summary
The Software Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within the IT department. This role ensures that software applications and IT services meet established quality standards through rigorous testing, analysis, and coordination with development teams. The QA Coordinator aims to enhance product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. They demonstrate good test script development, testing cycle planning, implementation, and tracking in order to help deliver complex projects within an integrated patient-care delivery network. Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement QA processes, procedures, and best practices.
2. Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios.
3. Coordinate project testing teams activities in testing of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.

5. Works to resolve all complex issues/problems, in cooperation with Project Managers.

Required Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Computer Science, Project Management, Organization Development or related field required. In lieu of degree, three years’ related experience will be considered.
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
• Certified Quality Process Analyst (CQPA) required or completed within one year of hire.
• Course completion for Change Management philosophy required or completed within one year of hire.
• Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM) preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
Experience:

- Handles all variety of tissue appropriately to reduce potential for injury or compromised blood supply.

- Gather wheelchairs, stretchers and other transport equipment no longer in use, and return to storage area.

- Communicate all information, concerns and request of patients to appropriate clinical staff.
- Assist co-workers and other hospital staff as needed.
- Attend customer service and body mechanics refresher courses as directed.
- Adhere to the dress code while on duty.
