A HIRING PROCESS DESIGNED WITH MORE SAFETY IN MIND.

It’s important to us that you feel safe and comfortable throughout the hiring process. That’s why we’ve modified our candidate experience with your concerns in mind. We are conducting most interviews via phone or other electronic media whenever appropriate, and taking additional safety precautions during in-person sessions, including masking, social distancing, and extremely diligent disinfection measures. Yet even with these additional measures, our hiring process is simple and fast. This is all it takes to join our team.

HIRING PROCESS:
EIGHT STEPS TO ONE GREAT CAREER.

STEP 1

Visit our online career center; create a career profile; find the opportunity best suited to your skills, experience, education, and interests; and complete your submission. We’ll send you an email to confirm your online application.

STEP 2

We want to be sure you’re a good match for Memorial Health System, and we’re a good match for you. As part of our process, we’ll request contact information for your references via email.

STEP 3

If you meet our criteria, we’ll invite you to interview with one of our recruiters. You’ll receive an email that allows you to self-schedule your interview at a time that is most convenient for you. The scheduling process is quick and easy.

STEP 4

The first interview with our recruiter will be conducted over the phone. We’ll ask questions focused on getting to know you and your skill set, which will help us determine if you’re a potential fit. This is your chance to ask questions about the position and our organization. It’s your time to shine!

STEP 5

If we determine that your skills and experience are a match for the position, the next step would be an interview with the hiring manager for that role. Depending on the role, this interview may be held in person or via video chat.

STEP 6

Should we decide we want you on our team, you’ll receive a job offer, including information on compensation and details related to certain types of benefits. We’ll explain specific benefit options once you’ve accepted the opportunity.

STEP 7

All candidates must submit to a mandatory drug screen, background check, and physical to meet the physical requirements of the position. We’ll explain these physical requirements before you interview with a manager. This entire process takes place at our Colleague Resources Center and is usually completed in less than two hours.

STEP 8

If you don’t get the job, keep trying. You’ve created a career profile, so your name and information will remain in our system, making you eligible for other opportunities. We update our job postings on a consistent basis. Check back every so often to see about other positions that match your skills.

ONBOARDING

Of course, every role demands a degree of self-motivation. But once you’re part of the team at Memorial Health, you won’t be on your own.

Within your first months, you’ll take part in a formal introduction program that may include web- and classroom-based training, depending upon your position and expertise. You’ll find the career-development section of our career site to be a useful tool. It includes educational assistance and career-planning resources you can use now and in the future.
