The Strategic Sourcing Analyst supports strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and value

optimization activities across products, supplies, equipment, purchased services, technology solutions, and

operational services utilized throughout the health system. This role partners with operational, clinical, financial,

and administrative stakeholders to support sourcing initiatives, contract implementation, spend analysis, and

supplier performance management efforts.

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst conducts data analysis, market research, financial evaluations, and sourcing support

activities to identify opportunities that improve quality, service, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

This position assists with the development and execution of sourcing strategies, competitive bid processes,

contract evaluations, and implementation plans that support organizational goals.

Required Experience

Education:

· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration,

Data Analytics, or related field required

· Relevant healthcare, sourcing, procurement, or contracting experience may be considered in lieu of education

requirements where appropriate.

Licensure/Certification/Registry:

· Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or

equivalent certification preferred.

· Certification required within two years of hire.

Experience:

· Zero to three years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, contracting, finance, value

analysis, operations, or a related field.

· Experience conducting data analysis and developing reports preferred.

· Healthcare experience preferred.

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources.

· Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

· Basic understanding of sourcing, contracting, procurement, and supplier management principles.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. · Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

1. Supports sourcing initiatives involving products, supplies, equipment, purchased services, technology solutions, and operational services.

2. Conducts spend analyses, utilization reviews, benchmarking studies, and market research to identify sourcing opportunities and support decision making.

3. Assists in the development and administration of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and supplier evaluations.

4. Performs financial analyses related to sourcing projects, pricing proposals, product conversions, service agreements, and capital acquisitions.

5. Develops and maintains reports, dashboards, and analytics that support sourcing activities, contract management, and supplier performance monitoring.

6. Participates in value analysis, sourcing, and stakeholder committees by providing research, analytics, and project support.

7. Assists with contract implementation activities, supplier onboarding, communication planning, and change management efforts.

8. Monitors supplier performance and prepares reporting related to service levels, utilization, compliance, savings, and operational outcomes.

9. Supports the evaluation of capital equipment and supply requests through financial analysis, benchmarking, and supplier research.

10. Maintains sourcing, supplier, contract, and project documentation.

11. Identifies opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and cost management.
