Position Summary

Full time
$37.43 - $58.02

Provides consulting and analytical expertise to support the development, design, implementation and administration of benefit programs, practices, and policies to meet the changing needs of the organization.  Monitors benefit trends and stays abreast of applicable benefits legislation. Analyzes, evaluates and develops best practice recommendations to maintain a competitive benefits program, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies and utilizing automated system solutions and process re-engineering. Investigates new benefits, coordinates benefit integration projects and supports the delivery and communication of benefit programs.   Embodies the Memorial Health Values of Safety, Integrity, Quality, and Stewardship that support our mission and vision.

Required Experience

Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, human resources, or related discipline (or the equivalent in related work experience).  

Licensure/Certification/Registry:

  • CEBS or CBP designation is preferred

Experience:

  • Four (4) years of professional employee benefits experience with strong knowledge of plan design, automation, administration and compliance for retirement and health and welfare programs, ERISA and other employee benefit related laws and regulations is required.
  • Three (3) years of experience utilizing information systems to perform complex data analysis is required.
  • Experience administering automated benefit self-service programs is required.
  • Experience with Lawson HRIS, crystal reporting and MS Addins is preferred.

 

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

 

  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and project management expertise is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, with advanced knowledge of Excel is required.
  • Must be self-directed with the ability to work autonomously on several projects concurrently.
