Position Summary
Plans and delivers nutritional care to patients according to the physicians’ diagnoses. Performs as a member of the multidisciplinary care team. Exercises independent judgment. Required Experience
Education: – Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics required. Licensure/Certification/Registry: – Registration with commission on Dietetic Registration, Licensure with the state of Illinois required.
Experience: – Completion of approved internship preferred.
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Working Conditions-Physical Requirements & Atmosphere: – Computer literacy with Windows based systems. – Communicate effectively. – Work independently, making independent decisions within departmental guidelines – Work under pressure in a noisy and hot environment and accomplish multiple tasks. – Be flexible with scheduled work hours and assignment. – Physically able to walk, stand and lift 20#’s. – Good manual dexterity. – Visual and auditory acuity. – Excellent customer service skills. – May be exposed to blood and body fluids.
