Surgical Technologist, Main OR - Weekends Only w/Call
Position Summary
*** $20,000 Sign on Bonus Available ***
This is a Full Time Weekend Only Surgical Technologist position, w/minimal Call requirements. *Our Weekends Only positions require a commitment to work 50 of 52 weekends annually.
Hours: 7am-7pm Saturday and Sunday, w/one additional day shift during the week to maintain full-time status.
Call Requirements are minimal: 4 hours every 2 weeks.
**Completion of a 2-year accredited Surgical Technologist program, or equivalent surgical technologist experience is REQUIRED**
The Main Operating Room (Level 1 Trauma Center) Surgical Technologist performs “scrub” technologist duties for scheduled surgeries in the Main Operating Room, and assists with the draping and utilization of instruments for a particular surgery and age of the patient serviced. Demonstrates knowledge in the basic principles of sterile technique and sterilization procedures. Clinical ladder advancement opportunities available.

Required Experience
Education:
– Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist program and/or equivalent Surgical Technologist experience is REQUIRED.
– Completion of Anatomy and Physiology classes preferred.
– High School graduate or equivalent required.
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
– Maintains current CPR certification
– Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
Experience:
– Previous experience in multiple surgical specialties is preferred.
