Description

The Director, MMG Hospitalist Program oversees the daily operations of hospitalist services, including management responsibility for all staff, including physicians, advance practice providers, clinical and managerial staff. Directs financial analysis and management and long/short term strategic planning. Responsible for coordinating care and operational needs at all sites where MMG Hospitalists provide service through coordination with local Hospital leadership. Collaborates with Chief Physician Executive, MMG System Administrator of Specialty Services and Hospitalist Medical Director.

Required Experience

Education: 
Bachelor’s degree in Health, Business Administration or related field required.  Master’s degree preferred. 

Licensure/Certification/Registry: 
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred. 
 
Experience: 
Minimum of four years relevant healthcare leadership experience including HR and Hospital Operations, with at least one year occurring in clinical setting required. Nursing Background Preferred. Hospital Operations Experience Preferred.
