Talent Sourcers

  • Jill Stafford

    As a Talent Sourcer, Jill is responsible for consulting with the recruiters and hiring leaders to identify and source the best and the most qualified candidates into MHS job opportunities. She works to plan and implement sourcing projects including MHS recruitment events, campus and new graduate recruitment programs, and marketing campaigns and proactive candidate communication.  She loves having a role in recruiting employees that help make Memorial a great place to work and improve the health of the people and communities we serve.

    Jill graduated from Bradley University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, and her background includes time with both an advertising and marketing firm.

  • Sarah Kilver

    As a Senior Talent Sourcer, Sarah works closely with the recruiters and the hiring managers to identify and engage with top talent in the healthcare industry to join the Memorial Team. She utilizes new tools and resources to create, develop and implement sourcing plans and strategies. She enjoys finding new ways to identify and connect with individuals to help them find their perfect role here at Memorial.

    After graduating from Illinois State University in 2012, she began her career in recruiting at a staffing agency in Chicago.  She specialized in sourcing and recruiting candidates in various roles and skill sets. She continued to work her way into sales and later left to join a marketing firm as a Project Manager and then the Creative Operations Manager. In her free time, she enjoys crafting and hanging out with her family, friends and of course her husband, daughter and their dog Luna.

  • Danyelle Felchner

    As a Senior Talent Sourcer, Danyelle consults with the recruiters and hiring leaders to identify and source the best and the most qualified candidates for MHS job opportunities. Danyelle focuses most of her efforts on growing the social presence of the MHS Recruitment department. She develops, creates and executes a content strategy to engage top talent on multiple social media platforms.

    Danyelle graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, Public Relations and Advertising. After graduating, she spent time in retail management then on to a local marketing agency where she focused on executing marketing and branding strategies for businesses. She specializes in social media marketing and is an expert in content strategy. In her spare time, Danyelle can be found training at Capital City CrossFit, chasing a toddler at home with her husband or trying to figure out a way to travel to Hilton Head, South Carolina!

     

  • Jake Schien

    As a Talent Sorucer, Jake is responsible for consulting with recruiters and hiring leaders to identify and source top quality candidates into MHS job opportunities. He works to plan and implement various sourcing tactics and enjoys finding new ways to pinpoint talent.  What Jake loves most about sourcing is engaging with passive candidates who otherwise may not have known about opportunities at MHS and helping providing them with a great candidate experience.

    Jake graduated from Greenville University in 2016 with a Bachelors in Marketing.  After graduation, he worked 2 years as a Technical Recruiter for a staffing agency in Naperville, IL.  In his free time, Jake enjoys cooking, fishing, biking, watching the Cubs, and spending time with family and friends.  Jake currently lives in Chatham with his wife Amanda, who is a Registered Nurse at MHS.

  • Tara Heneghan

    As a Talent Sourcer, Tara works with recruiters and hiring leaders to pinpoint and source top talent in the healthcare industry for job opportunities at Memorial Health System. She plans and implements sourcing projects, recruitment events, and proactive candidate communication. One of her favorite parts of sourcing is working with colleges to schedule events that engage new healthcare graduates and help them find their perfect role within MHS!

    Tara began her career as a second grade teacher after graduating from DePaul University. After two years of teaching, she spent the next 18 years helping high school and college students to prepare for admissions and licensure exams and to reach their education and career goals. She developed  a passion for healthcare after working with nursing students and seeing their dedication to improving the lives of others. Outside of work, you will usually find Tara and her husband shuttling their son and twin daughters around to practices, activities, and games or spoiling their sweet bulldog Luna.


Nursing Recruiters

  • Sarah Bricker - Supervisor, Nurse Recruitment

    Sarah is responsible for hiring new graduate registered nurses and manages all on-campus activities to promote Memorial Health System to current college students. Her main goal is to establish relationships with these target universities and students to source, assess and secure top talent for Memorial. In this role, she creatively sources for open positions and develops proactive recruiting techniques and programs that are consistent with Memorial’s mission, vision, core values and image.

    Sarah graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor of science degree in healthcare administration. She also has her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield. She joined the recruitment team at Memorial in July 2013. Her previous work experience includes management for a corporate dental company and technical recruiting for an IT staffing firm. Sarah was born and raised in Springfield, and is the head cheerleading coach at her former high school in town.

  • Angie Fitzjarrell

    Angie is our RN Recruiter, hiring a variety of Nursing Roles including – New Grad Registered Nurses, Experienced RNs, Professional RN roles and Nurse Interns. She has almost 7 years of experience in the recruitment environment. She started her career at Memorial Health System part time in a clinical role as a Unit Secretary while attending school.  Her main role is to provide total staffing services to customers, including recruitment strategy, sourcing, and candidate assessment and selection. She manages the candidate and hiring manager experience through the recruitment cycle.

    Angie graduated from Illinois College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics, and a minor in finance. She joined Memorial Health System in June 2010. Angie has earned such accolades as the Great Patient Experience Award in 2010 and Employee of the Unit in 2012, and is actively involved with the growth and development of Christ the King Church and School. She is also active in the alumni society of Illinois College and Sacred Heart Griffin High School.

    Angie’s favorite thing about her job is partnering with all academic partners and helping nursing students develop their career into their dream job.

  • Jessica Stock

    Jessica works closely with nurse managers across our affiliates to hire patient care technicians and other nursing support staff. Jessica’s primary goal is to develop and maintain strong relationships with applicants and leadership, and partner with hiring managers to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies related to long and short term recruitment needs. She serves as a full life-cycle recruiter, managing the process from start to finish.

    Jessica graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2008 and, two years later, completed her Master of Arts in Communication with a focus in organizational communication and training and development. In 2016 Jessica achieved her Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR) through HRCI. She joined the recruitment team at Memorial in October 2017 and brings seven years of recruitment experience to Memorial Health System. Jessica previously worked with an external recruitment firm and also for a wholesale pharmaceutical distributor. Jessica loves spending time with family and friends at home, but has been a certified scuba diver for 10 years and loves to travel and dive whenever she can!


Recruiters

  • Mary Kate Larson

    Mary Kate recruits for entry level, non-medical roles within Memorial Health System. Mary Kate graduated Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources in 2011. Upon graduating Mary Kate began her career in Recruiting at a local staffing agency. During her six years there, she sourced and recruited for both entry level and professional level positions ranging from office to manufacturing. While in staffing Mary Kate also recruited and sourced for various roles for Memorial Health System. Her greatest joy is being able to find the perfect job for a candidate. She lives in Springfield with her husband Eric and their dog Andy.

  • Eric Guthrie

    Eric recruits for behavioral health, business support, information technology, and other professional level positions across all Memorial affiliates. Eric completed his undergraduate degree at Aurora University (Bachelors in Marketing, Bachelors in Management Information Technology) and then completed a Masters of Science in Organizational Behavior at Benedictine University. Eric spent 6 years working at Benedictine in Alumni Relations and Development before moving on to TEKsystems where he recruited for 2 years before being promoted into an Account Manager position.

    Eric lives in Chatham with his wife Shannon, son Colt and dog Archer.

  • Noah Cisco

    Noah recruits for Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants, Certified as well as Housekeeping and other entry-level positions within  Memorial Health System. Noah graduated with his Bachelor’s in Business Management in 2014 and his Master’s in Business Management with an Emphasis in Human Resources in 2016, both from New England College of Business and Finance based out of Boston MA. Noah started his recruitment career with SIU School of Medicine where he recruited for both technical and non-technical roles over the course of just under a 2 year period.

    Noah lives in Pawnee with his Wife Alannah and Daughter Veronica. Noah has a pet dog named Bradley, 2 pet snakes named Charles and Bonnie and a pet Chameleon named Clyde. Noah enjoys going to events around Sangamon and Christian Counties with his family. In his spare time he also enjoys working on puzzles, putting together models, watching movies and playing video games.
