Position Summary:
The Epic Data Courier, Environment Release, and Testing Analyst II is a mid-level role responsible for independently managing data courier migrations, coordinating Epic releases, and leading testing efforts. This role ensures smooth environment transitions and collaborates with IT teams and stakeholders to maintain system performance.

Required Skills
- Manage and execute data courier migrations between Epic environments while ensuring data integrity.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data courier jobs to ensure successful migrations.
- Work with application teams to validate build migrations and prevent overwrites or conflicts.
- Coordinate and implement Epic system releases, upgrades, and patches across environments.
- Work closely with IT leadership and Epic application analysts to schedule and deploy release updates.
- Maintain change control processes to ensure compliance with organizational policies and minimize disruptions.
- Develop and execute testing plans for new releases, migrations, and system updates.
- Perform unit testing, integrated testing, and regression testing to validate functionality and prevent issues in production.
- Work with end users, Epic application teams, and IT testers to ensure new updates meet functional requirements.
- Act as a liaison between Epic analysts, IT administrators, and testing teams to coordinate environment migrations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data migrations, environment issues, and release-related concerns.
- Communicate testing results, risks, and implementation strategies to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, security policies, and change control guidelines.
- Document migration logs, test results, and release schedules for audit and review purposes.
- Monitor Epic environments for performance issues, inconsistencies, and build conflicts.

Required Experience
Educational:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field is preferred.
Epic Certification:
Certification in Epic Data Courier is required within 1 year of hire.
Experience:
- Three or more years of IT experience desired.
- Proficiency in software testing methodologies and Epic release management.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in troubleshooting Epic migrations and system updates.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
